We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Ken and Trendsetter Homes. Ken was professional, direct, detail oriented and accountable. Quick to respond to any and all of our numerous questions and concerns, with understanding and patience. This was incredibly helpful in minimizing our stress while building a new house and learning our roles as new parents. The Trendsetter Homes approach was to understand and manage our vision, dream, and needs. Ken’s experience allows him to see problems before they are built, providing an opportunity to make changes to address the issues before it is too late. Ken was adaptable in a rapidly changing building environment, demonstrating agility and awareness necessary to achieve our desired results, without sacrificing the end product during cost escalations and material availability issues. We really felt dealing with Ken was more like interacting with a friend than a business partner.

When we first contacted Ken at Trendsetters to do our full home renovation in 2019, he was fully booked for several months so we decided to wait and booked for March 2020. The renovation had just started when COVID started to impact most businesses, but not only was Ken able to keep the renovation of our house going, there were very few delays throughout the entire process. Ken ensured the process was smooth and kept in contact with us constantly to update on what trades were coming next and what was happening at the house. The work completed was exceptional and the house was completely transformed. We were so lucky that we were able to complete our renovation during a difficult time and Ken ensured that the quality of the work was excellent. Ken truly cares about his clients and wants to ensure that their expectations are met. He even checked in with us a year after the renovation! Ken and his trades are reliable and provide great workmanship and service and I can’t recommend Trendsetters enough to anyone considering a large renovation of their home or a new build.

Surpassed Expectations

While we were not in the market for a new home, we did need to modify an existing bathroom and bedroom to accommodate our child’s need for access. Cost aside, our primary goal was to have our home renovated professionally, quickly and with as little disruption to our family. Without question, we can attest that our needs were met and the quality workmanship surpassed our high expectations.
